Dr. Maracin's book, Conquering Giants in Modern Times, is solid, well written, and very enjoyable. The best parts for me were how he related the spiritual truths to his personal story. It really helped me gain solid footing...I also love Pastor Darren's spirit and how he unabashedly and unapologetically proclaims how the gospel and message of the Cross has changed his life.

This is a powerful, powerful-Holy Spirit driven book. It was difficult to put down yet, I know I will read it several more times as there is much to process. Dr. Maracin reveals the specific relationship that exists with the giants that the Israelites faced as they attempted to gain their inheritance...'the promised land' to the giants we face, today, which we let distract us from inheriting our promises from God. This is scripturally guided, fascinating, and presents revelation and hope. I recommend it to all who want to learn how to conquer the 'giants' that stand in the way of their receiving God's promises in their lives. It is a reminder of who our God is, the power of His word, and how different our lives can be when we follow His call. I am excited to have family and friends read this book! I know it will bless them as it has blessed me
